Who remembers Magnatex, they were based on the Bath Road Cranford on the junction with Cranford Lane. I know many of you will say that Cranford Lane and Bath Road dont meet each other, but you are wrong the Old Cranford Lane does and it intersects with the Perimeter Road of London Airport.

Magnatex used to manufacture car parts and accesories and was a large local employer and it was sold on to another company and closed in 1994*. The current site is where the Premier Inn is located on the Bath Road Cranford.
