Heston Fire Station was built in 1895 and remained in service until 1926.
Mr Wingrove who can be seen in the gallery below also ran a greengrocers shop in New Heston Road.
The building still remains and is located at 91 Heston Road adjacent to Heston School entrance.
After which a Fire Station was located in Montague Road Hounslow served Heston until the opening of Heston and Isleworth Fire Station in 1937.
